Joy at Work
Reading can be a wonderful form of self-care. It can help take you away from reality, help you learn something new or just give you new insight. I recently read the latest book by Marie Kondo. Joy at Work is an interesting way to apply her KonMari method to your job and career.
Often times people do not associate the words joy and work. Work is usually something that people do to earn a living and support themselves. If given a choice, many people would choose not to work. There can be satisfaction and worth in many professions, but it all still involves effort (another word for work).
This book offers a chance to learn many helpful things, including:
How clutter affects our health in a negative way.
Your work environment is key to your success.
When you stop to answer an email, it can take you 26 minutes to get back on track.
